It’s been a while

Yoko wall piece

It’s been ages since I’ve posted here. The last few weeks have been really hectic with assignments and such since I’ll be finishing my course in a few weeks time *exciting =D*. I found the image above, taken by obakadan, whilst surfing Flickr, it reminded me of the Yoko I drew a few months back

I’m going to try and get some more sketching done soon hopefully when I have some time to myself, so stay tuned.

Yoko Grid Sketch

All cleaned up

It’s been a while since I posted here, it’s just been pretty busy the last couple of days, and I’ve been watching Rurouni Kenshin ^^. That along with being a bit lazy to scan things onto my computer since the scanner is in the other room. I really should get my other printer/scanner working so that I can scan straight from my room without having to move my laptop to the next room to scan. Anyways heres a new sketch that I started a few days ago.

I started doing a grid sketch of Yoko (Original can be found here) which Kenny suggested that I do to improve my proportions and things. It was quite tedious I had to pay a great amount of attention to detail get get everything right, unlike free hand drawing where you can wing some things.

Mio Sketch

Here’s the sketch of Mio (Original can be found here that I finished yesterday. The sketch was not too difficult nor easy to draw. I got some feedback from my mate Kenny when I showed him the sketch. He said that the positioning of the nose and the mouth were a bit off and that the eyes had to be fixed up. I’ve still got to shade the rest of the sketch, but I think I’ll do that some other time.
